Die Rechtfertigung der (subordinierten) Stellung der Frau in der Gesellschaft – im letzten Jahrhundert durch die Frauenbewegung brisant wie nie zuvor – gründet nicht zuletzt auf biblischen Texten, die diese jahretausendelang getragen hat.
Dabei möchte ich zunächst in Kapitel 1 die Fragestellung thematisieren, in Kapitel 2 die zwei wichtigsten Bezugspunkte einer frauenfeindlichen Argumentation beleuchten und in Kapitel 3 diese kritisch betrachten.
Über die Gründe einer kirchlich wie gesellschaftliche gewollten Überlegenheit des Mannes kann nur spekuliert werden, wenn sie nicht – durch die erworbene Machtposition – klar auf der Hand liegen, bedürfen sie einer genaueren Untersuchung, die im Rahmen unserer Problemstellung nicht geleistet werden kann...
